I’m in the new issue of Doctor Who Magazine looking at the new soundtrack releases for The Invasion, The Five Doctors, Class and Series Eleven of Doctor Who; I had a real blast writing this and treating them as if they were ‘proper’ albums in their own right and I hope this comes across when you read it! The issue also has a huge feature on Series Eighteen – Tom Baker’s final one, if you weren’t aware – which I’m really looking forward to reading. Even if it does mean they’ve got bloody Meglos on the cover.
You can get issue 535 of Doctor Who Magazine from all good newsagents, or you can find out more about getting a paper or digital subscription at the official Doctor Who Magazine website here.
You can get the soundtrack albums for The Invasion, The Five Doctors, Class and Series Eleven of Doctor Who from Silva Screen Records here. You can also read features by me on Silva Screen’s releases of the soundtracks of The Changes and The Box Of Delights.
When you’ve read the new issue, by the way, you could always have a read of my review of Series Eleven standout Rosa (which you can find here), or listen to me chatting to fellow contributors to this issue Paul Kirkley and Jonny Morris as part of my podcast Looks Unfamiliar.
